Dr. Jurzyk is the founder and President of Advanced Dermatology Center P.C. Dr. Jurzyk is a Double Board-Certified Dermatologist located in Wolcott, CT. Dr. Jurzyk obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, graduating with Honors and was elected to the Rho Chi National Pharmacy Honor Society. He remains a licensed Pharmacist in Connecticut. Dr. Jurzyk graduated from Drexel University School of Medicine / Hahnemann in Philadelphia and was elected into the AOA National Medical Honor Society. He then completed his Dermatology Residency and Dermatopathology Fellowship in Philadelphia. Dr. Jurzyk is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. He is a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society, the Connecticut Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society and the Wolcott Chamber of Commerce.

Rachel is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and joined the Advanced Dermatology Center team in 2023. Prior to joining us, she worked in oncology for 8 years, providing exceptional care.
Rachel is passionate about educating others and believes in treating patients as a whole person. Her dermatologic interests include, but are not limited to, acne, psoriasis, as well as skin cancer detection and prevention.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, friends and family. She enjoys powerlifting and believes staying active is the key to living a healthy lifestyle.

Kelsey completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut. Prior to PA school, she worked in several clinical roles, including as a medical scribe in the emergency department, a nurse aide for patients with disabilities, and a medical assistant in a dermatology clinic. While working as a dermatology medical assistant, she developed a passion for the specialty. She then went on to complete her PA training at Misericordia University.
Upon graduating, Kelsey began her medical career by completing an 8-month Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship at Schweiger Dermatology Group. This program combines rigorous academic and clinical training under leading dermatologists, allowing Kelsey to develop a strong foundation in medical and surgical dermatology.
Kelsey is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She has also completed the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program, further expanding her dermatologic education.
Kelsey is passionate about skin cancer detection and prevention and has a special interest in treating inflammatory skin diseases. She is dedicated to staying current with advances in dermatology and providing her patients with the safest and most effective treatment options available.
